Following the Hatha tradition, this flowing yoga class links a collection of simple postures together to help bring balance to the students mind & body.  Yoga practices help create better physical health & stamina while also aiding better concentration & mental awareness. The focus of this class is to create an inviting environment for both men & women with any level of flexibility.

Jennifer began practicing yoga as a university student in Calgary in 1999.  She was immediately taken with yoga's holistic approach to wellness which fit well with her personal views  on health.  Jennifer became a registered massage therapist in 2001 and is a registered member of the Natural Health Practitioner's of Canada.  When she moved to Lethbridge in 2004 she began a career teaching massage therapy at Lethbridge College.  Inspired by her students and her love of learning she returned to post secondary education in 2005 to study Exercise Science at the University of Lethbridge.  Jennifer began her yoga teacher training in September of 2009 and is now eligible for recognition with the Canadian Yoga Alliance.  Jennifer's teaching style is influenced by ashtanga, hatha flow and anusara lineages.  She believes that yoga should bring joy and satisfaction to everyday and inspire a deep respect for human health and the beautiful world in which we live. She hopes to awaken the joyful spirit that dwells within her students by guiding them carefully through the ancient practice of yoga asana and the other aspects of this ancient science.
