Jackie Stambene - B.P.E., B.Ed, Child Development Supervisor

Jackie received her Bachelor of Physical Education and then Bachelor of Education from the University of Calgary.  She has been involved in working with children and youth since 1988 and was a Programmer for the City of Calgary and the Preschool/Youth Director for the South Family YMCA in Calgary prior to coming to Lethbridge.  She created Kaleidoscope Community Preschool in 1999 while developing new programs in her role as the Director of Programs for the “Lethbridge Community Schools Association” the umbrella organization of which Kaleidoscope Community Preschool is a part of.

I am a mother of two girls, one of which attended Kaleidoscope Preschool in 2001-2002.  I have always enjoyed teaching and watching children learn so in 2003 I started to sub in Kaleidoscope Preschool, and in 2009 I got my Early childhood Level I certification.  I have been teaching full time at Kaleidoscope Preschool since March 2009.
